I'm sorry to inform you that try as I might, I have been unable to write the article some of you said you wanted to read about my brain tumor and the problems I had following surgery and continue to have. It is just too emotionally painful for me right now. Also, the circumstances I endured were (I hope) highly unusual, and I don't want to make other people fearful. I am still in recovery and have quite a way to go, so I hope you will understand. Thanks to all of you for your words of support, but this is one time when I have to take a step back...I'm just not emotionally up to dealing with all that has happened and all that is to come. Hope you will understand.
Of course we understand. The last thing you need right now is to concern yourself about HubPages and hubbers. Get yourself well and we'll still be here to welcome you back when you are ready.
Sending you tons of virtual hugs and best wishes.

Medical articles by individuals (even patients and their experiences) never do well anyway; we can thank Google for that. Besides, I think you are right. Do indeed try to think of more pleasant things.
Hi Sondra, no need to apologize. Don't put any pressure on yourself to do anything but rest, heal, and recover. Take it a day at a time. That article will come when you are emotionally stronger and ready. Self-Care-First! Prayers and support for you continue; you are welcome for the Hublove. That's what we do around here.
Sondra, Hugs, hugs and more hugs! Positive thoughts are coming your way. Take care of yourself first and foremost. When you want to come out and play with your Hubber friends, we'ew here. If you need anything, please let me know.
You have a huge following here on Hubpages who are thinking, praying and sending good wishes. You have many more followers as well, but your overwhelming priority is to focus on your own healing with rest and many small steps. We can wait for your stories. Send us a sentence or two now and then— we are all behind you, going forward ,and appreciate the example you have given of how to be an exceptional “hubber”.
So good to hear from you! And glad you are going to take time to continue healing before taking on a big writing project. It takes a while after such a physical/emotional event to process it all and sort out what would be helpful to others. Hopefully you can stop in at HP as you are able and say hi.

Many of you may remember that I was stricken with a brain tumor last Spring. The tumor was surgically removed on June 10, and I was told the doctor had gotten rid of all of it and, in the process, had saved my vision. Recovery was hard and long, but I was finally getting back to...

Please pray for Lexi who is undergoing brain surgery right this minute. I am not self-promoting, but I did write a little hub about her with pics if anyone wants to see it. Believe me, the last thing I care about is a better hubpages score right now! Lexi is 2 years old and we...

Hi seasoned Hubbers. What does it mean when someone approves your comments on his/her hub, responds to them, then later removes your comments? It this acceptable behavior? It sure does make the string of comments that remain (only the hubber's own and those that agree with, them) read like a giant...
