The Hub phenomenon is rapidly gaining grounds. The potential for growth is massive.
To take this further, can the Admins add a new element to hubpages, called ‘hubanswers’ (just like yahoo answers) where Internet users can ask real questions to real people (hubbers) to get specific answers to their concerns? That way the whole Hub experience becomes much more interactive, targeted and not unidirectional..
I think it would change the direction. And be a distraction.
If people were to submit questions for others to thoughtfully research and publish a hub it would be a different matter. Because then it's real content, rather than instant answers.
the forum covers both those points, you can ask questions here for instant answers and hub readers could use the forums to submit ideas for hubs.......jimmy
I did not suggest that the answers had to be instant.
This is just a suggestion which could be built on and in the end provide a better user experience.
I do not think it will neither be a distraction nor a change in direction, but rather an addition providing with specific information.
When I first stumbled on hubpages, I was looking for information on a specific topic and a related hub post happened to be on the first page of google search results. Although the post did not address my concern specifically, I was impressed with the quality of its content and joined hubbing.

All of us that have visited the question section know that much of the content there is of very questionable quality. It's difficult to see how many of the questions really contribute to the community or discussion on HubPages at all, ranging as they do from mediocre to banal.Of course, there are...

I have been on HubPages only for two months. I did not think that "Asking & Answering Questions" was a complicated matter. But I have come across a question that if you ask a question and then answer it with your own hub, it is "faking it". My understanding was...

Hi everyone,I'm just starting out in the wonderful world of Hubpages questions and answers. I've had a look through the help centre and only found a little info....basically that Q&A's are meant to be a very mini hub type thing, where you can earn the 60% for all views on your Question and...

I thought that the questions would be adding to the hub, thereby making the hub rank better for certain terms. However, that's not the case from what I see. The questions show on the page but not the answers, so the content of the answer is not really on the page, therefore it does not add to the...

Would there be a way to differentiate a written hub from the other answers to our questions? Perhaps a separate column? I would hate to overlook responding to someone who has taken the time to actually respond with a hub. As it is set up now, I have to periodically scroll through...
