If my husband install cameras around the house, and he and my stepson is the only ones that have access to see the videos and hear recordings? What can I do?

Get rid of all the cameras one day when neither are home

If you feel that confronting your husband on this topic would put you in harms way then I advise you to go to this link and contact the authorities relative to your situation for advice:

    https://ncadv.org/resources

If confronting him is an option then I would advise you to let them know how you feel in an open, honest, and non-confrontational way. If they respect your wishes then all is well, if not then it may be time to consider uprooting yourself from the situation.

If it were me, I would take all my stuff and disappear without warning one day and never look back.

I have asked so many times for the link to the cameras and I am ignored. I quarrel about it and still nothing. It bothers me greatly because I have no privacy when I am outside doing my gardening and talking privately on the phone with my siblings or friends. Because everything is being recorded. He sees when I drive out and come back home. And when I leave he calls to ask where I am going. It is sick and I really need to uproot myself from this situation. Thanks for the link and your advise.

People have the right to expect privacy when inside their own homes.

May I ask what reason is given by your husband and stepson for the cameras inside your home?

No idea about legal as don't know what country you live in, but it sounds abusive to me. Definitely seek help to leave

I don't know if it's legal. However, it doesn't sound like a healthy relationship at all. I would consider a divorce, or at very least taking down the cameras when they're both out of the house.
