I'm new and started reading about the challenge last night.  I've just joined, but think I'm up for a kick in the butt.  I've already written 2 hubs, but would like to consider them the first 2 in the challenge.  That's fine, right?  Basically I just need to state I'm starting the chaalenge and then post my links in the HubChallenge links post, right?  I'm not crazy, am I?  Do I get some sort of thrashing if I fail?

Hi Eva, welcome to the challenge. Yes you can count your first two hubs. Just start counting the 30 days when you published them. There's a whole bunch of us joining KCC in his October Challenge. Feel free to join in that topic as well.

No there's no thrashing if you fail. Just some good natured encouragement as we go along.

Sounds like you definitely got it right!

Thanks, Nelle!  I'm officially in.  I was joking about the thrashing, I think...

    Hi lyricsingray,

Here's a link to Ryan Hupfer's rules for the HubChallenge http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/17849

Nothing to be scared of really. We're quite a friendly bunch in the HubChallenge forum. Give it a try, nothing happens if you don't make 30.
