I saw in my feed that someone wrote a hub and it really interested me because I had something similar happen to me. I went to comment on it but I could not find ANYWHERE to comment on it other than through my feed.

How do you comment on the new sites?

Also, holy ads. I get why people use ad block.

Thanks, Glenn, for posting your reply.  I have discovered that it is impossible to make comments on sites like Delishably.  Are they planning to open it up to comments in the future?  Any idea how long this will take?

The team is working on many things dealing with the migration and this is only phase one. See the weekly newsletters and weekly "Network Site Migrations" forum threads for updates.

Olealea - In short, you can't comment on articles except for two or three niche sites, but I understand the process is complicated.

You can, of course, contact the author directly through email. Click on the author's name just under the article title and click on the contact button at the bottom of the bio.

Oh thank you Rupert for your polite reply.  May i know what niche site is?

    My advice is to:

    1. Write down what you need to say on a small piece of paper.
    2. Roll up the piece of paper and stuff it into an empty bottle.
    3. Toss the aforementioned bottle into a large body of water.

With some hope, the message in a bottle will eventually make its way to the intended recipient.

While not perfect, I believe it's a more effective method than trying to comment via HubPages. wink

Nah i think I'll write a few pages and then shove it down your throat.  I'm sure it's effective... Wink

You can start a forum on news feed.
Post a link to the article and then you can reply.

It's a bit of a hassle, but that's how most of us get comments posted right now.
Only catch...you can't post your own work on forum

Can you explain to me through my email.  I really don't understand about navigating through forum.  I'm new here. I'll be thankful for your guidance

I think Letterpile is one niche where comments are possible. I'm not sure about others.

When I search and read artilces at other web sites I find that those that are ranked at the top have numerous comments. I think google uses the comments to help determine page rank, and since there is no way for readers to do this we are always going to be ranked low.

Dr. Mark, you have a good point. Unfortunately, nothing seems to change here for the best. Actually, nothing seems to change.

I am still hoping that the comments will be back.

I'm hoping comments will come back too. Not only do I like commenting, but I also started depending on comments to help me know what people are interested in and why. If I wanted to write a followup article, for example, what might be the most interesting focus for readers?
