Not at all bad and good as well. Every one get the same score with a minimum activities here. But reaching any score above 90 is a real tough job.

Man, it looks like you are doing great. The best way to improve your hub score is to write great hubs that get voted up. You can increase traffic to your hubs by sharing them with other social networking sites, bookmarking sites, and by creating backlinks.

The more traffic you receive to your hubs, then the greater chance people will vote them up (if they are good).

Also, make sure you are active in the community by doing the following: write many comments, answer questions (like I am doing now), and be very active in the HubPages community. There are a ton of great people on here, so just get involved.

I believe that having followers also helps your hub score. I will help you out with this one right now! Have a great Saturday bud.  If you have anymore questions then shoot me an email.

I am still confused I had hub scores in the 70 and 80's I went on vacation and they dropped ten plus points! Someone wrote for scores below 75 they stop flowing traffic to your hubs!

Like twhite said, this is one way.  I just visited you, read a hub, left a comment and followed you.  Why?  Because of you asking a question.

The more you get involved, the more chance someone will be curious and click to your profile.  I bet 90 percent of the people who follow me first did so because of an answer or comment I made here or at their hubs.  Maybe 99 percent !

I agree with Pcunix, the more you participate in the Hub-munitiy, the more attraction and reach your articles will have.

thanks friends, I am just searching around to know how to increase my hub score. But what is the advantage of having high hub score. I read it somewhere that the more your hub score the more your chances of appearing in google and other search engine.

Thanks to everyone that has responded to this question.  I am new to the site and was curious about the hub score.  When I searched this was the first one that popped up.  It's great to know from the start how important the "Hub-munity" is!

I've read that if you are using your hubs as part of your SEO efforts you need to have a certain score before any of your links become active. Is that true?

Thank you for asking about this. I had the same question and before I typed it into the 'Ask a question' box, I am glad I searched for it. I guess the key is to get involved and write good articles. I just created my profile and am starting out with a hub score of 29. Long way to go!

I am pretty new to HubPages and have just written my first 2 Hubs. Still not 100% sure how to manage my hubs, but was just looking at the statistics and came upon the Hub Score. After reading the comments I understand how to make it increase but what is it scored out of? Is it up to 100 (prob not get anywhere near that but just good to know what the target is!)

    Thanks

I think you can increase your hub score which is shown on your profile pic by writing good quality useful hubs. Try to avoid writing duplicate content. I have just joined yesterday and I have written one hub of course unique content and that shows now as 52 point and my hub score is 21 now. I shall work towards making my hub score increase over period of time.

    Thanks for reading.

Same as a few others, thanks for asking this because I just created my first two hubs and my score is at a 17...Don't really know why but at least now I know how to fix it!

My score was in the 70s. The more content I published, the higher it got.  I reached a 98 a week ago then ceased activity to see what happened.  Although all of my hub continued to earn several dollars daily, my score decreased to a 92 (as of now).  I did notice that when I answer questions it raises, so I am curious to see if I answer a few questions today if it will go up, as I do not have time this week to write hubs.

Sure enough, as soon as I submitted my answer it showed as a 94 instead of 92 prior to submission.

I'm brand new and over thinking things, but this answers a question of mine.  Thank you.  I just saw a profile of someone with a 66 score and 0 hubs.  So this answers that sub-question as well.

I am a newbie hub, I want to know some things about the hub score, Is there a relationship between the hub score and publishing the article?

I have the same question regarding the score - I'm new to Hubpages and very interested in writing good online content...I posted my first hub a few days ago without a clue... my score quickly went to 77 then after posting a capsule (another new concept), with a book recommendation pertinent to my topic, my score went down to 72...  part of my participation in this thread is experimental to see if the suggestions mentioned here raise the score again... thanks.

Why can't hubpages outline their scoring system and how to maintain it? I would like to understand how they decide a hub is quality? I am not posting to compete but to display items of interest and entertainment. I have a job and family I did not want a social sight but a forum to display my work .

I was glad to see your question about "hub score" as I am new to this, just started tonight with a 50 point hub score but had no idea what it meant! I'm  struggling with getting to grips with it all but I think it's slowly sinking in  :-)

Don't worry about the Hub Score. In general, higher is better, but how it's calculated is a complete mystery to everyone.
