How do the dreams originate that we view at night during sleep? So the human brain is a dream generating machine?
I am proposing here the idea that the universe is an intel generating machine — the process that takes place inside the Universe~machine, is this: It ignites the engine by creating simplistic base materials, and ends the process by giving birth to very complex and sophisticated end-products.
Imagination is more important than knowledge. For everything is forever changing.
We are bio-organism first, machines and science is a tool. Beurocrates and technocrats try to package me as a product.
Nobody can own me, because I have no slave gene.
Very Interesting question. I like your idea: 'the universe is an intel generating machine'. Yes, the end results are often complex and sophisticated. The human brain is a little box but there's so much about it that we cannot understand.
(Don't give up without reading it till the end)
During dreams, the entire brain, from the brain stem to the cortex, is active. REM (rapid eye movement) sleep is when most dreams occur. This is part of the sleep-wake cycle and is controlled by the reticular activating system, which has circuits that go from the brain stem to the cortex via the thalamus.
The cortex is in charge of dream content, such as monsters we flee from, individuals we encounter, or the sensation of flying. Because we are highly visual animals, the visual cortex, located at the back of the brain, is particularly active, but many other areas of the cortex are as well.
The hippocampus, located deep within the temporal lobe of the brain, plays an important part in our ability to recall, imagine, and dream. Our most vivid dreams are amazing replications of reality, merging unrelated objects, activities, and senses into a vividly complex hallucinogenic experience.
Essentially, this idea proposes that dreams occur when our brain is processing information, removing irrelevant information, and transferring key short-term memories to our long-term memory. As a result, those who recall dreams may have unique characteristics to memorize things in general.
I often talk when I am sleeping or dreaming. It is very usual. I believe, the mind is active when we dream but it is the soul that wanders.
Now I want to pose my question here: Do you believe it is our soul that wanders here and there while we are sleeping?
"The experience of the wandering soul is called a dream." Our soul and brain have some sort of link, which is why we occasionally remember what we dream. Do you believe it is possible? Do you think that science can ever prove this? I believe the brain and soul are somehow interconnected. What do you think?
Your soul is like million parts of you, your entire body is all interconnected. Much like the universe is all interconnected. Our energy is similar to the star dust energy of particle of iron in our blood as it works throughout the Universe.
We have three brains – your HEAD brain, your HEART brain, and your GUT brain. The three brains are like an orchestra, with billions of neurons cooperating to produce a harmonic symphony – harnessing together an ever-changing network of neurons that work in synchrony.
Oscillations created by impulses from the three brains synchronize various operations within and across the vast communication networks. Together the oscillations ensure that all components are able to do their job at the right time, the way a conductor creates order among the large number of instruments in an orchestra. In contrast, when synchronization fails, our three brains no longer function properly.
The Role of the Three Brains
The head brain analyzes information and applies logic.
The heart brain senses the world through emotion and feelings.
The gut brain is used for understanding our identity and who we are in the world. The gut brain also helps us learn self-preservation by teaching us to follow our instinct – the “gut feeling” we all experience at times.
I think that (human) consciousness is like super glue. I think that the entire universe is created out from this super glue. At the origin of the universe, this super glue was liquid. Then this super glue dried, and hardened — thus matter came into existence.
Our body is a shell that is chiseled out from this hardened super glue material. But inside the shell, there still moves and flows the liquid super glue.
Dreaming is when this (liquid) super glue leaks and evaporates from the pores on the body of the shell. Upon awakening from the dream, the evaporated super glue returns and gets stored back inside the shell again.
This is so interesting. The idea of glue sounds so good. My question: Is consciousness a physical property of the cosmos, like gravity or light?
Is it possible or can we say that Consciousness, in reality, exists outside of the Brain?
Do you think that this could be the original case:
Our awareness deceives us into thinking there is a false duality of self and other when there is simply unity. We are not independent from other components of the cosmos, but rather an inseparable part of them. And when we die, we transcend the human experience of awareness (consciousness), as well as its illusion of dualism, and join with the universe's full and unified quality of consciousness. So, strangely, humans can only be completely conscious after death. What do you think?
Don't think humans have the capabilities of knowing, these vast spiritual unknowns.
Most part, we are what we think. About 80% of the collective consciousness in our own area or country or what encircles the Global changes. Consciousness changes the major things positively, not the Religion or political. Yet these large groups can change things partly. Our thoughts can change our DNA. I don't trust greedy people messing with our DNA and our superior immune system, like with covid vaccines. Possibly some of our DNA has come from other planets and mixed into our DNA like a cosmic soup.
There no great scientist who knows what our DNA will really turn into next.
So, strangely, humans can only be completely conscious after death. What do you think?
~ Misbah, you've hit the crux at its core. Yes, once the liquid super glue is released from the shell, it assumes the form of a mist~cloud, or something similar.
But what if the mist~cloud could create shells itself; what if it could enter those created shells at its own will — and could release itself from those shells as well? Then, we would be cheating death.
This is the FUTURE.
Aiden, thank you so much. Your imagination is at its peak. I don't think we can ever escape or cheat death. But your creativity, on the other hand, is super stunning!
Blessings to you!!
Super glue company would love you to be their saleman.
Maybe it's love that glues the Universe together.

I like the fact that you used the word "Maybe" in your post.
I wish you could return back to life and tell me if humans can only be completely conscious after death. But I know it can't happen.
I truly miss these forums. Anyone who is interested to read Tanmoy's Philosophical chats can read this one.
Anti~Glue should also be promoted here. Lol!
When we apply glue on the wrong surface we need anti glue as well

Do you create the universe, the universe creates you, or both?It could be said that you create everything you see and sense by your mental interpretation. If it takes the mind to determine all physical reality, would it take a mind to build all physical reality? If it wouldn't take a mind to build...

Do you believe that our dreams are the product of our subconscious?I have dreamt of death, re-birth, snakes (so on so forth) before, and decided on a whim to consult a dream dictionary. I was surprised that the definition correlated somewhat to that period of my life. Was it just my mind making a...
