   It makes no sense at all. I just shows how lazy they are that they haven’t even discontinued automated announcements like this.
   As an experiment I tried to publish something here about a week ago because there is still a “start a new hub” button under my profile pic. on my feed.
   It lets you go as far as selecting a title and topic, but when you try to go to the next page you get an error message.
   They should be sending out automated email messages thanking everyone for their time here and saying goodbye.

   I hear that they are having difficulties. I am surprised you guys are still there.

         I have most of my articles on Microsoft, although it would be nice to take everything from here. Sometimes I simply wrote without Microsoft, just spontaneous on Hub Pages. Not many.
         
         I have no directive from them and no idea what they are doing. Can you suggest a way of transferring all in one go? My stuff has been taken before. Lots of it! I seem to remember MIsbah helping me to fight a case before. Some humans will always be rogues. Takes lots of energy to fight the system. Love, Manatita

            The Arena Group, TAG, who owns hubpages is now the most notorious rogue. With 844 articles and them blocking attempts to download your articles en masses, I suggest you be sure to download your top 20% of artickes/poems and delete them. TAG intends to keep your works, change them as they see fit, and earn all monies from any views.
            
            You will lose all control and ownership. It is a vile and unethical turn of events. I would not want to support their enterprise in any way, and it will come back to haunt them financially. The end of lowering writers' cuts to appear profitable will reveal that they are sinking ever lower.
            
            Everyone leaving will hurt the sites and their rank. Backlinks will be going away and they will be left with what they earned, a pile of crap articles. Stolen content from their previous writers, but no EEAT for those articles or their scummy fake authors.

               Sounds like they are still operating. Confusing. The world is changing, my Sweet. Spiritual Masters come for major transformation.
               
               The sad part is that we see the pain and suffering first.
               Yet we cannot be awake without them. A kind of twisted way to speak. Sorry. But these shadows, while appearing stronger, are actually dying. Much gratitude and Love.

   It is a pleasure to be able to see and hear from some good friends and long-time fellow writers here on HubPages in order to wish everyone well. I have been absent and have not yet moved any articles due to medical concerns enveloping our lives for a little over a year. Now, in addition to having several operations and inpatient rehab stints, my husband is now undergoing treatments for prostate cancer. I am also awaiting some needed surgery. It is so sad that our journey on this site has to end. It has been such a pleasure to meet wonderful people worldwide and share our passions. We have learned from one another, laughed, and sent virtual hugs when there were losses in our community. I will truly miss all of you. I wonder how long the forums will be operational?

   The posts above contain misinformation.
   
   15th Jan was the day we stopped earning. So we won't get any more cents.
   
   However, end of Feb is when we lose access to our hub. I will be gone by then.
   
   I'm moving stuff out now. I don't expect to make money but I feel better keeping my articles.
   
   Who knows when the forum dies but I can't say I care much about that. The forum only worked when the staff were involved.
