Since I got sick and lost my job, I had to cut back on eating out alot. I went without buying clothes for a long time and then I started bargaining shopping. Quality just as good but at a lower price.

Christmas shopping YEAR ROUND has saved me a ton of money. Whenever I see a tremendous deal, I look to buy Christmas gifts. This method also eliminates the stress of cramming Christmas shopping in!

I live frugally anyway, so cutting back even more isn't as difficult or challenging. I have select places where I dine out (if I dine out) who's prices aren't a hit to the wallet, and portions are still generous.

When I buy clothes, I always venture to classical styles, so no matter the fad, my duds are always stylish! I love consignement stores, and don't mind nearly new. I think clothing is used anyway, once it's been handled or tried on.

I am however, strongly considering doing away with the cable. I have limited basic (yes there is such a thing) it's not advertised, you have to ask for it. But rarely do I watch it. It's $20.00 a month, but I don't really need it.
