Can we really do without God in our lives?
Some people believe in God, some just don’t want to know, but can we really do without Him?
Do "what" without Him? Can we prosper? Can we live our lives? Can we die happy? Sure, we can do all those things but we still belong to God. Can we "do without God" and obtain the peace and happiness within ourselves that was meant for each child of grace? I don't think so. At some point in your life you are going to cry out - you are going to need a higher power than yourself, someone to turn to - who's it going to be? That's when God is going to step in. Why wait for that moment? Try doing some searching and study now - get to know who you can trust and who you can cry out to. Get to know who will be there in the worst moments of your life.
The greatest accomplishment of the devil is to make people believe that god does not exsist..... THINK ABOUT IT!
I lived for too many years without really knowing Him. He is my sustenance...the air that I breathe. I'd rather die (physically) than to live without Him in my life. He IS my life.
" It is in God we live , move and have our being" We might live without trusting in Him , but to die without Him is infinitely worse , for the we shall be separated from Him and every blessing that comes from Him, and this for eternity.
Who would want to. Life without Him would be an empty life. I have had my time without him and life was miserable. It wasn't until I met Jesus that things changed and they are still changing. It's what happens after this life that I care about. When you die and if you know Christ, you will live.........that what I live for now.
Does God exist? If God doesn't exist than the answer is simple. Yes, we can live without God. Does God exist, than we are in God (as a God is and must be omnipresent, so also there where we are), and being in God we cannot be without God. But we are, so there are to possibilities. There is no God or it doesn't matter where you believe in for your existence. People saying to live without God seem to have a life, even a nice life maybe. I believe that there are two levels of being 'in God.' There is a physical level. Physicly we are in God. But many are not 'one mind with God.' Many do not what God supposes. So, on that second level it is possible. On the first level it is not.
Given that millions, if not billions, of people get along just fine without a god (I assume you're thinking of the traditional Judeo-Christian idea of god), I'd say that yes, we can do without one.

For the very many years I was in Church attendance, the Kingdom of God was always equated with Heaven. It was a future event that only those who believed in Jesus would see either when they died or were raptured, whilst the remainder of humanity would go to hell. A Christian could be disqualified...
