I have a few deleted hubs that are dragging down my overall hub score.  Is there a way to remove them from the scoring process?

The deleted hubs disappear after a few days (I believe it is a set number of hours).

This question has been asked in the forum before, and I'm fairly certain that we were told that deleted hubs don't actually affect your hub score.  The same goes for unpublished hubs.

I have one deleted hub that appears to have stuck. Normally they go after a couple of days, but this one has hung around, deleted, for well over a week.

Have you looked at it since deleting it?  I once found that looking at it made it stick around longer.

Mine have been there for well over a week also, and they ARE affecting my overall score, according to my stats.  They all have scores of 60 or less, and it's added into the total.  Strange, because all the visits to them were the ones I made to delete them.

Plus, they are showing modification dates of less than two dates, when I haven't touched them since I deleted them.  They were duplicates that were created for some reason when I tried to save other hubs.  I think that if I visit the duplicate hubs, it's showing as a modification to them.

Hubs that are not published do not affect your HubScore.  I'll take a look at why they may not be getting deleted.

Thank you, Paul.  I promise you that on my stats, they have a score, and are added in to the total score.

The deleted hubs do affect your average score on the stats page, but that is not the same thing as your hubscore. The average is just a 'nice to have' performance indicator that nobody sees except you. (I think wink

    That's correct, Paraglider.

The Updated Content date change could be from an RSS feed into the hub.

I notice some of mine showing real recent dates and I have not even looked at them in a while!!

Is a "hubscore" the red number by the article title?
