My mind is racing. I've got this idea for a youtube channel and I want to do something with Social Media, Marketing, Business, and Current trends in behavior but I don't know where to start or what to call it or if I should do interviews or just idk... Looking for some help or validation if you think that that kind of channel would be a good idea.

I have a deep marketing background and I own portion as a partner in my current company as a marketing consultant and I am very active in social media etc... I already spend most of my time explaining to people where the world of advertising is headed but I'd like to be able to help more people as so many of our clients are doing quite frankly silly things with their ad money.

In order for this to be a viable use of my time I am going to need an idea I know I can become a Youtube partner with in 4-6 months so I can justify the time I will be spending to make the channel interesting as well as the investment into some props, new camera, maybe paying for food and time for interviewees.

What are you thoughts? Good idea? Bad Idea?

I'm always interested in people making money on youtube. I know it's great to build a supporter base but if people know that you have got a great Youtube channel why would they bother going to your website?

Unless your promoting something rather than simply blogging.

Well some of what I'm thinking of speaking on is the interaction and implications of the changes LinkedIn has made with the integration of Twitter and what that mean for the individual business professional.

another example would be how the new ad set up in facebook and the ability to target friends of fans now and what that means for people etc...

Those would be main points in short entertaining episodes I would like to make throughout the week.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you guys. I've been speaking with a few others throughout the day about this as well and have been away from my PC.
