    LOL

One of my personal blog posts was linked to my a "Ford Truck Enthusiasts" forum:

    http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/90410 … light.html

So - I went and took a look. I love some of these guy's forum signatures.

I think my favorite has to be, "IF IT IS MADE IN CHINA, YOU DON'T NEED IT!" Too true. smile

Ford trucks are indeed "built Ford tough."  As a lifetime farmer and user of these trucks I can vouch for this statement.  There are still many of the old trucks on the road.

      I'm from Ground Zero, Detroit.

My guy works at the Mustang plant but he won't drive a Ford. He's got a Jeep and a GMC van.

My ex drove a Chevy when he worked at Ford, and when he switched his job to GM, the first thing he did was go on out and buy a Mustang.

I drive a Chevy truck. I bought it new for less money than the used one I was shopping for, because of all the employee discounts my guys made me eligible for smile

Lots of folks here buy Hondas - from Ohio.
I have a friend who works for Toyota. I've driven his Tundra - I liked it just fine.

My point is basically, it's all good.
You're right about Ford truck guys though Mark. Jeep people are just as passionate. They have a secret wave that they do to each other when they are driving down the street.

Before Saturn made the Vue, they were the only car co. that made a vehicle that was 100% American Made. (The put a Honda engine in the Vue.)
I owned one of those 100% MUSAs, sold it with 120,000 miles to my neighbor who it still driving it now, 4 years later.

This was more about the people who are passionate about them than the trucks. I just loved their approach.

"Torque it 'till it snaps off - then back it off a quarter." lol

I did look at the link, they have their little icons moving and the eagle eyes.. very funny. my dad was a devout ford truck man until his later years.

really funny about the secret wave that someone mentioned here.

I told my son, 'you know, you're going to turn into one of those truck guys!'  he already went to the toyota tundra forums before he made the purchase and said, 'that's where you get the real deal about a vehicle, go to the forums. those guys are passionate, they say it like it is.' it arrives from texas on dec. 1.  he is psyched, to say the least. (guess who will be calling son for special projects. big_smile)

I have a Ford truck. Right now I don't like her so much. Had a few problems lately. But I'm thinking of forgiving her.
