Ok. So I think I have published a couple of great hubs.. wrong!

   No.  It looks like that I just don't get it.  When I think I have cracked it.  When I think - this will be a great hub - original content, appropriate tags etc etc.. they both turn out to be the WORST performers!  I have never started off on a 46 or 47.  They seem to start at 50 then climb.  What next?  Take em off? x

      Don't worry they will climb it is sometimes a part of the algorythm system ignore it and let it do its part.

      Don't be too hard on yourself. 9 times out of 10 when you Publish a Hub, the score will rise. It won't stay at 46, 47 or 50. I've had a quick view of your "Conscription Hub?" and it's now sitting pretty at 73. I'm sure it will rise even more.
      
      At this stage (2 months) you are sort of on a learning curve. There's still a lot to take in and work out. (Ps. I'm still on that learning curve too. lol) So, don't you be worrying.
      
      PS. Loved your Fairy stories.

   I've done that same thing. I've published a few hubs thinking that they would take off and draw traffic, but it wasn't until after about one week, did I finally see some traffic.
   
   That's without doing any extra to drive traffic to the hubs themselves.
   
   I say, I agree with AEvans and give them time to perform.

         Before the links were snipped, I manage to go to each and left a comment on both. I didn't see anything the matter with either of them.

   But Seriously, I write about stuff that I find interesting to ME and that to which might be interesting to others.  If it's not, it's not.  I've made a whopping $.04 (that's right 4 CENTS) from adsense (or whatever its called) and I really don't care about the money.  I just like to write and I don't care if the bozos that sit in some back office counting beans to see how much my life stories are worth think....I really don't.  That's just my attitude .... and perhaps a little bad today cuz, well, its sunday which means tomorrow is monday.

   okey dokey artichokey...here's J's two cents
   
   I took a look at your hubs and their scores vs when you published. They all look par for the course, really. Anytime you write a hub and publish it that same day, it will start with a lower score. Usually somewhere between 47 and 52. Probably depending on length, content, media etc.
   
   For some reason if a hub sits in your account unpublished for a few days, it "ages" a bit and the score will rise a little. I often work on hubs for several days, sometimes weeks before I actually publish it. Often, by the time I'm ready to publish, the score is in the sixties.
   
   Your hubs individual scores seem to be rising just fine on their own with time and if you look, you can see the score going up pretty regularly as you go through your hubs.
   
   Something that may help your scores as well, is title. Take a look at your better preforming/scored hubs. You have some straightforward titles that work well. Your new hub about eBay had a confusing title and until I looked at the hub, I thought maybe you'd spelled a word wrong. You may want to think about reworking some of your titles. It can help with your traffic/views which will also, in turn, help the score of the hub.
   
   Based on what I said beofre, I think your hubs are doing just fine and the lower scoring ones will be up in the 70's in no time!

      The title can make a difference. I've actually changed some titles on my "lesser performing" hubs and they have risen in the ranks of my account. (for what's it's worth). Has this worked for anyone else?

   I have read a few of your hubs and there great I agree with the others, don't worry about it to much. Hub score's don't alway's reflect how good a hub is, in my opinion anyway.

      the second one is better, though. It makes more sense to my brain when I read it You could always try something like "Win items easily on eBay" Or "Win Ebay Auctions at the last second with sniping"
      
      You can always change a title again if the new one doesn't work. Of course, your url will stay the same but as long as your title is relevant for the hub, as well as the url, it should be ok.
      
      Keep in mind that a hub title is the first glimpse a reader gets of your hub. If a title is off putting or confusing, it can turn readers away.

   I think you should keep your title catchy.  But I agree with Janetta, all the hubs start at 50 and who knows what will happen.  When I write, I finish and publish and it's done.  What goes on from there is anyone's guess. And I don't worry about it.  Also what may not be a hot performer now might be a hot performer later.

    I am glad that I stopped in. I was wondering about some of my hubs ahen they started out with 49 also because I remembering that somewhere it said a hub start at 50. When I saw a 49, I thought, "Whoa, what did I do wrong?"
