    "The murder of four police officers in Washington on Sunday cast a pall on the nation's Thanksgiving holiday weekend, and now there's a political controversy brewing over the the main suspect in the killings. Investigators have named former Arkansas prison inmate Maurice Clemmons their primary suspect. Clemmons was released nine years ago after being granted clemency by then-governor and former GOP presidential-candidate hopeful Mike Huckabee. Huckabee now faces questions about that decision, which could damage his standing as a prospective Republican presidential nominee".

    I think it's ridiculous that should effect his political career. Like Huckabee could foresee this guy's killing spree? Give me a break! I do wonder why our elected officials are even able to grant clemency tho.

    Yeah like Huckabee could have looked at at the probation reports that said he was sociopath that would continue to victimize everyone he came in contact with. Or like Huckabee could have listen to the prosecutor that foretold of the killer Clemmons would become.  Or the judge that sentenced him all of his natural life in prison.
    But no Huckabee got a letter from inmate that said he had found God and was a changed person.  So in his great wisdom he ignored all of the people that knew anything and everything about Clemmons and granted clemency.
    So look the nine children in the faces and tell them if Huckabee had not been a damn follow their parents would not be with them right now!

    Oh yes I see your point Huckabee should not have to pay for his ignorance I mean after all he's a republican you know the party that keeps harping about people not being willing to accept responsibility for their actions.  Now your argument makes perfect sense.
