Family night!  We eat lots of munchies and play a forever game of Dominoes!

Whooo hoooo!  Yes, we may have that too here.  We are supposed to get another snow storm this weekend!  I just finished writing a hub about playing games and getting back to the Simpler Life.  Now I must go add Dominoes to the hub!

Do you have a drink at home and do you watch the ball drop at midnight on the T.V.?  Do you do anything special?

one night we were coming home from a New Year's party and driving past the ball park, up ahead was a car weaving like crazy, and then they started going the wrong way down a one-way street, so they must have been plastered.

this year i am hosting a New Year's party, and people can sleep over if they want to, although no one ever gets drunk - it's just if they feel too tired to drive home or just want to avoid the roads.

We rearrange the furniture so we can watch our town's fireworks out the large dining room window.

The town began setting off fireworks on the millennium.  We had 45 minute long show that year.  Every year since, we have had at least a fifteen minute show.

It sounds good! We also can see the town fireworks from our window, but they are only for July 4th and Labor Day.

Well I guess I will reply now.  We go out to the Party the local Knight's Of Columbus put on.  They have an open bar and most times it's Bring Your Own.  They serve a buffet style dinner up until about 10 and then they clear it and serve breakfast from midnight on.  There is lots of dancing and I made a hub for line dancing if anyone is interest.

Hey Sir Dent you could use some of that money you got for Christmas to get DSL and learn to do some dancing on the floor with your sweetie!

If you want to link I wil get it for you if you ask nicely.

Everyone, whatever you do to bring in the new year, Have fun!
