I am very new to this whole blogging thing. I started a hub two days ago on a subject near and dear to my heart and health and I have not found out how to go about adding to it. I am writing about a particular health issue and had planned on writing everyday and offering recipes to those that have the same unique problems. I can't seem to find out how to go about doing that. Do I need to edit my original hub every time I go in to write or is there an easier way to do it keeping in the same topic. Thanks for any help you can give me. raxann1
Yep, I agree with Uninvited war...this is not your traditional blogging site, it is more of a article writing site. You could do a couple of longer articles and break them up by date if you wanted within the Hub, or just writea series etc. Also, I struggled when I first got here with many things, so I ended up writing a hub on getting started (and avoiding easy mistakes.)

Welcome and good luck!
You should create new hubs for each recipe, just make sure the text is over 200 words.
This is not a blogging site and hubs are not blogs.
You can group your hubs together so people can find all on one topic.
Writing Hubs and blogging is not exactly the same thing. Writing a Hub is like writing an article, and so you do your research and write your Hub, with maybe a few tweaks later. You could write a series of Hubs on your topic and link them together, but if it is a diary format that you are after, you might be better off setting up an actual blog that you can post to each day. Have a look at Wordpress and Blogger
Thank you, I have never attempted this before, I thought it was a blog. It wouldn't let me use the same title, how do I group my hubs together?
You need a unique title for each Hub and you can't duplicate the content within the Hub. Read the FAQ's and search for Hubs on how to make Hubs - try Relache, DarkSide, Mark Knowles.
Welcome raxann, I had a look at your Hubs and I think HubPages could suit you very well, because you're writing about a specific subject.
It's best to make each Hub readable on its own - don't assume the person who finds a Hub has read any of your other Hubs. Instead, imagine you're writing a series of articles for a weekly magazine: some of your readers will read the whole series from the start, but others will start reading from the second, fifth or sixteenth week.
I recommend you read Darkside's series on how to write Hubs, this one is particularly useful:

As for linking your Hubs together, I'd recommend you just write them for now and worry about linking them later, as you get more confident with the features of the site. Try to make each Hub at least 400 words long. When you've written a few, go back and edit your first Hub to make it a summary Hub, including links to all your other Hubs.
This Hub by Whitney is a good example - it has links to all her Hubs about dog training:
http://hubpages.com/hub/Dog-Training-Tips-and-Help
You have a link symbol that looks like a link of chain in your tool bar click on that and then put the hub you want in that address box.
raxann blog and hub are different as other hubbers has told you.
first write more hubs especially on what you know best, with nice title,
you get a blog through Google ad sense then you can add your blog url at the end of your hub, trying to drive traffic to your blogs.
my view.all the same welcome to a great hubbers family.
