Is anyone else getting spammy link after link on their hubs? I'm about sick of chasing up dropped links abut ugg boots. I'm going to sell my own thanks
Oh and how many more hubbers are going to 'follow' me and ask I return the favor? Please - stop it. Read hubbers work because you like what they do.
You don't have to become a fan of anyone. It's ok to just read and wander off elsewhere around the site
no uggs on my hubs.
i havent been getting comment notifications either.
i HAVE gotten...im your fan, please be mine, comments. blech
lol guys - I already have some. I remeber seeing a post somewhere about one of our hubbers thinking they're not so cool on women - uggs that is.
I love mine. I don't care if my feet look stolen from a grizzly. They're warm
And those links - I keep trawling round and round my hubs and fidning them. Pain in the shuck end, so they are
i don't know how they manage to escape Hubpages' notification of their comments, but they do. many times their ads, i mean ads with long lists of boots, descriptions and prices will be sitting there on my hubs for a couple of weeks until i stumble onto it by chance. they are very clever, these spammers
Yeah, I really don't like that either, 'now follow me back' requests good grief, bossy or what? lol
The best thing to do is to flag it as spam and then delete it, it helps to make the system know about the frequent spammers!
i do that all the time. they just create a new account and start all over again

This might be my last forum post because I am tired. I can't be wasting my time beating a dead horse.HP is a business and they need to start treating their business more seriously. They need a task force to sit and brain storm about how to keep spammers out in the first place.I know that I have...

Along with the Google effect lately I've seen a lot of forum posts about spam, and every time I hub hop it is obvious that there is a lot submitted here of both spam and simply substandard hubs.I would suggest that the following rules apply to the first 5 (or 10 or 20?) hubs by any new...

Have you noticed that you must be signed in to click on a hubber's name to go to their hubs? This does not seem good to me; it keeps readers from spotting hubbers they may want to check out and the traffic we are after is non-hubbers isn't it? So they would never be signed in. This seems an issue...

all the people I see spamming the forums are signing up long enough to post on the forum but aren't writing any hubs. So ... I was thinking. Why not require three hubs from a person before they can post in the forums? They would still be allowed to read to their heart's content, but they would need...

We've had a handful of spammers lately. Yes, it's not okay. Please report them rather than comment on their spam. I doubt the spammers even read your reproaches, and posting comments circulates the situation. Ideally, HP should evaluate their "new writers" better.
