How do I stop my dog pulling the washing off the line?

   My dog is driving me mad, the past two weeks she's started pulling the washing off the line and dragging it all over the garden.  Any tips on what I can do to stop her?

      wash her.  then hang her out to dry.
      
      seriously, you'll have to catch her in the act before you can discipline her.  then you'll have to do some basic training techniques.  clicker works, be patient.  exercise, mental stimulation, etc. google "clicker dog training" for a start. 
      
      cesar's 1st book is his best, all subsequent ones seem to repeat what the first offers.

      well you could higher the washing line or use a simple but affective trick:
      
      when the dog is not behaving simply turn away from him and do not fuss or talk to him.
      
      but when he is being good give him a treat and give him a fuss that way slowly but shorly he will realise that it is not good and he will stop.

   Crumbs Cindy ... that's a dire situation. Re-washing clothes
   
   Can you use some kind of method to add height to the close line? Or restrict your dogs ability to reach it - enclose a rotary dryer somehow?
   
   Or maybe (time consuming) make your dog aware that it's not a good or welcome thing to do? Like hang any old crap up and then stalk your dog. Everytime she goes to tug something squirt her with a water pistol or emit a very loud, stern 'NO! then when she resists make a fuss of her?

   Thanks guys, I quite like  her and hang her out to dry suggestion!  Hard to catch her in the act as she does it when we're out or inside the house.

   tie a large rock around his neck just so it hangs on the ground. Or maybe an old tire?

   why don't you keep your dog in da house while da clothes are drying? dis way you won't has to watch her or clicker her or hang a tire around her neck

    Sometimes you have to physically intervene or remove them from the situation. For example, keep her in the house until the clothes are dry. When my pup was an ‘actual pup’ he loved to demolish the Christmas tree. Solution, build a fence around the tree so that he could not physically access it. Luckily he has since moved on to other things.. . . . . This year we did not have to use the fence; we even gave him his own tree, which on times he would sleep under.
