After all the voting we all did am I the only one wondering where we came in the "Mashable Awards" in terms of "Best site for publishers". It has been a number of weeks now with no info on the results, surely someone must have heard by now???
http://hubpages.com/hub/2009-Mashable-O … -Announced not sure if this is new or previous year but another hubber wrote about it. UCoz got the vote.
Thanks for the info Mel never even heard of them and don't remember them from the voting options, but oh well, hope we win next year as Hubpages rocks
I looked at the results last night. does anyone write on ucoz?
never heard of b4. would be interesting to see if hubpages made top ten or top twenty
We must have made the top 20 as there were only about 10 or 20 choices to vote for in the final rounds, and hubpages was one of those.
I've searched google and bing just to find out where they ranked in the whole vote but could only find the winner ...bummer.. at least to see if hit the top 5 then.. I was not here then but would like to know if hubpages is really the place to be in web 2.0 or move on to another web 3.0 site instead ,where there's collaborative articles. I heard they have that google KNOL BETA out ..havn't checked out yet though
just checked out too ,and no revenue and all links r nofollow... gee whats the point of that.. guess web 3.0 lacks the first draw.. cash
You can get dofollow links from Knols and you can earn revenue with adsense!
Links are nofollow when you first join after a while you will gain trusted status if your content is of good quality and your links will become dofollow.
For adsense, log into your Google Knol account - go to preferences and click on the adsense tab.
good to know about nofollow status upgrading on status change. on the beta I observed no adsense was streaming anywhere, however i'll take your word on being monetized because they might be out of beta.. thanks for the info

My wife was a writer on Hubpages for over 2 years and she passed away in 2011. She has quite a following and people write comments several times per week on her hubs, which I do moderate and publish. In order to make a decision, I am not going to name her but I wanted to ask your opinions. ...

Hopefully someone from Hubpages HQ can look into this.I believe that those of us that are using a hosted account with Adsense are not getting any ad revenue on impressions from the niche sites.I base this on the fact that my daily impressions on Hubpages vs Adsense differ by a factor of about 100....

Hi,I have a strange requirement.I have an adsense id, but due to personal reasons I do not want my share of adsense ads to be shown to readers. Instead I am happy with hubpages showing their adsense ads everytime an adsense ad need to be shown. But however, I want a share of revenue from all other...

Being a HubPages writer who has been banned from Google Adsense, I would like to see some alternatives to the Earnings Program (which I cannot take part in), other than Amazon. I have not had much success with Amazon as I do not write on product-orientated issues. It would be great to have the...

I'm sure somewhere someone has already asked this, but....What happens if you don't have an Adsense account? Can you still earn from Hubpages through their ad program?I'm only asking, because the other day I was thinking, what if I lost my Adsense account... Not that I think I will, I stay within...

Now that the general Hubpages population can join the Hubpages ad program I have to wonder, is it worth it? I have been with Hubpages about two months and have only gained a couple clicks on Adsense. Do I have a better chance of making money from the HP program, or should I stick with...
