Some months ago i employed someone through elance to help me with the seo of my web site, the end result was that i ended up losing my adsense account, and theres not a thing i can do about it,has any one had the same problem?
this obviously means i won't be able to generate any income from adsense on my hub,but i do understand there is an alternative available here on the hub, does any one use them?
I am new here i just joined to-day.

Hey, join the club.  Lost my adsense account and don't even know why.  Got no real answer from adsense.  An alternative sounds good to me.

    sad

what did this person do to make you lose your adsense account? can't you write to Goggle and tell them you trusted someone and they messed you up?

are you an eBay affiliate? if so you can use that. also, Amazon is another HP affiliate.

i just have to add, everyone on those freelancing sites is not a professional writer. sorry that happened to you, but welcome to HubPages. hopefully one of the more experienced hubbers will come along and help. smile

Welcome to HubPages, RayJack smile yes. You can sign up for Amazon, Ebay and Kontera. HP is also in process of negotiating with another advertiser, I believe. hmm don't quote me though, I may be wrong, was mentioned a while back tongue but yes, you can still make $$.

Ray, i suggest you to get in touch with adsense support to know the reason why your adsense got banned,if you can convince them that it was not your fault you might get your account back.

On HP there is no adsense alternative unfortunately. You can try amazon, ebay, kontera instead. Kontera will work for you but will annoy reader.

It is possible to get it back. Many blogger i came across got it back. You can do a bit of googling on how they got back, you'll find lot of blog posts on that one. Read adsesne help area on how to contact the support. Ask them how you got it banned and is there anyway you can get it back.

Also be careful where you post your any ad-code from now on.

i've gone back and forth with the idea of using Kontera. i personally don't even finish reading articles on the net that have them in the content, but maybe people are getting used to them, i don't know. hmm maybe i will rethink it.

Few things to watch out with kontera:

    - ads annoys visitors
    - 6 month earning report is available for report older than that is only accessible with customer support.
    - ads take too much time to load so it may increase loading time of your hub

yikes loading time will affect ranking with Goggle if they consider that regarding sites. Yikes hmm

yeah, that annoyance factor is why i keep hesitating. and if it takes my hub longer to load, that's another thing to consider, i guess it boils down to how much money you can make from it. i have no idea.

Kontera has many positives, and very few negatives. The popups can sometimes be a little annoying, but I do not think they are that bad.

And the loading time of the Kontera ad is nowhere near enough to affect your Google rankings.

On the Adsense topic, there is very little that an SEO specialist could do which would get your Adsense account banned. The only real possibility is if they paid for traffic (Which is nothing to do with SEO)

The only reason you would be banned from Adsense is Click Fraud.

Even if they put inappropriate content on your website, Adsense would merely pause adverts on that site.

When Google ban an Adsense account an e-mail is automatically generated and sent out to the account owner, what did your email say?
