Is anyone else having problems with page performance?

   I was looking at a couple of my hubs, and trying to do a little proof reading, when the page started jumping up and down. Does this have something to do with the ads that are displayed?
   
   It certainly is annoying. It's like you are reading a magizine and someone is trying to pull it away from you, only they keep going back and forth. What's the deal?

   I should have just let this one die..you have posted lots of questions relating to how hubpages performs
   
   The most likely culprit for your odd browser behavior is  your own PC.
   
   have you updated your browser? When is the last time you ran a spyware cleaner? do you have an up to date anti-virus?
   
   Do you download or go to pornography sites or movie download sites?
   
   Do you have a firewall?

   In answer to your question Sunforged. I have all of what you aksed. I have Avast which is constantly working, I have a firewall, and update my browsers constantly.
   
   I also clean my cache, cookies, temp files, and history every time I use my computer. I'm not sure about the spyware cleaner but, I do have some kind of Spyware protection, but, not that one.
   
   Anyways, the problem went away on it's own.

   I checked with my partner, and he said he was having problems with different websites too. H e figured it was just a temporary glitch in internet explorer. It hasn't happened since.

   Might be an idea to try cleaning your computer with reimage.com. They have a free 5 min scan you can download from their website that checks everything from spyware to missing files that might be causing your comp to run so slowly.
