Today is the day for the AFC Championship Game and the NFC Championship Games. The winner advances to Superbowl XLIV.

Game #1- NY Jets @ Indianapolis Colts
Game #2- Minnesota Vikings @ New Orleans Saints

There has been a lot of attention in the media this year surrounding the playoffs. Brett Favre, NY Jets surprise run have led the topics.

    My Picks:
    Indy-27   NY Jets 17
    Saints-38   Vikings-27

#3 pick--Favre will return next year to try again for another Superbowl as well as a MVP. He now trails Peyton Manning in that category by one.

Hi Michael, I think Vikings will win 35-28

I think the Jets defense will shutdown Peyton and also I think Jarred Allen will reek havoc on Drew Brees.

Jets vs. Minnesota in Super Bowl XLIV

If that happens, it would be Brett Favre against another team he played for and the  media would love it!

The Jets cannot afford any mistakes against the Colts, and that puts tremendous pressure on the team.

The Colts have much more leeway, they can put the game away early, but even if they don't, no one is better at 4th quarter comebacks.

I do believe your Colts team will get to the Superbowl. Manning just has so many choices where to throw the ball.

When was the last time a rookie QB took a team to the Superbowl? Has it ever been done?

No rookie QB has started in Superbowl.

I could have sworn Marino was a starting Quarterback his rookie season...(shrugs) maybe it was his first starting season...

What a pass play. Sanchez will to have to have a career/ break-out day for the Jets.

BTW, how smart do the Jets look now after picking up Braylon Edwards.  One man's trash is another's ticket to the Super Bowl (perhaps).

Marino wasn't a starter on the 83 team and Miami did not go in 84

He became a starter in game six of his rookie year and made the pro bowl. They made it to the '85 SB, which was played after the 84 season.

Another long pass...Colts better tighten up that defense.

It is about ti be a bigger lead! I wouldn't want to have to come from too  behind against that Jets defense.

They are giving Manning more time to throw and defense is all over Wayne and Clark, so Garcon and Collie are making plays.

lol I wonder if those six points he should've gave them is going to amount to a hill of beans at this game's end.  In truth, this should be a 1 point game.

Tough to see Favre go out like that.  The turnovers killed them....and that last drive penalty with too many men in the huddle was painful to watch.
