"Catcher in the Rye"...Has it caught your eye? Yes? No?

Several months ago I had to help my brother do a report on it, and even though I didn't read it all the spark notes told me enough to know that I vote, "NO!"

    RIP.....

Catcher in the Rye was once banned in some parts of the USA. It can also be noted that some of the novels of Mark Twain were banned in the South. I hope this information adds spice to the debate...

Interesting...Now I am starting to really have doubts about not reading the book. They say never judge a book by it's cover. Well now I say never judge a book by spark notes or your younger brother!!!!!!

I have 16 copies of Catcher in the rye, I carry them right next to my 9mm Beretta. Maybe I need some counseling?

It was kind of a joke, ever see Conspiracy theory? Mel Gibson has the book planted in strategic locations in his apartment.

Mark David Chapman is said to have had a copy of it on him when he shot John Lennon.

John Hinkley Jr reportedly had a copy when he shot Ronald Reagan.

I have actually never read it nor ever had any interest in it.
