If one is, financially, DEEPLY inDEBTED (trillions of dollars)to another, who controls "freedom?"
Why is it that the "alledgedly" most powerful, Democratic nation on earth, must borrow money from a capitalistic, Communist country?
That BEING the case, what does that tell you?
Umm, and what should it tell? China owns America, it's a fact.
economic is different than political???
economic giant CHINA versus political giant USA??
or the wiser borrows from the businessman, who is smarter??
Misha:
Absolutely!
The owner of the "mortage," is in control.
Now tell me "why" a nation that cannot feed itself, that depends upon the world economy for it's existence, is able to gain that kind of economic control over the lives of everyone on this planet?
Pretty:
It's the old Rothschilds adage that he who controls money controls!
Politics is absolutely controlled by $.
ok how about Japan? they are also economic giant but dont participate that much in politics?
hmmm does it mean we are going to forcely enjoy Made in China products for so long?
Why is it then that during World Forum, Chinas vote is not as important as the US vote--the US can command other nations to follow
Pretty:
Pls give me an example of America "demanding" that any nation follow us.
We are the most powerful nation on earth in ref to technology and "arms." Russia is a very close 2nd.
It is within the capabilities of both the USA and Russia to end life as we know it on this planet.
That knowledge alone makes us a nation that is to be considered in ref to other nations working with us....
Politics is the art of compromise.
The $ even controls the compromise.
How much control does the American Chamber of Commerce in China have?
Anyone know?
How has this group flexed its political muscles in China, and how much more does it have in common with the Chinese government than with the United States and Chinese populaces?
Any thoughts?
Mike:
When in Rome, ya do as the Romans do.
when you are indebted as deeply as we are to China, repurcussions must be considered in whatever action we take. If the bank owns your home, you'd better be very careful in all your conversations with them. It's called "politics."
In the case of us with China they pull the strings.
One does not need cash to repay debt.....
For Chinese elites to keep their incomes they will ongoingly need American markets, in the United States and controlled elsewhere.
While our nation owes their nation money..expanding the reach of Chinese corporations in places like Mexico, Brazil and elsewhere then compensate....
Of course, this is remembering that the elites behind the Chinese government are many of our own elites here...both are looking for increased sources of cheap labor, diminished rights for workers and consumers as well as citizens overall....
The Chinese people, themselves, are clammoring for the establishment of labor rights to include the formation of independent unions.......because such organizations are illegal there...and American independent labor unions, like the International Longshore and Warehouse Union the United Farm Workers, United Auto Workers, et al have ongoingly been under attack by the Federal government over the past 30 years......
Walmart, Target, and Home Depot, among others, lobbied hard to the Chinese government in order to quash the independent labor movement....
Mike:
Ya got it all right.
The bargaining point is that China has a burgeoning population it cannot feed.
It needs other nations if it is to succeed.
China is a country slightly larger in square mileage than the USA.
As you know most of her farming is terraced.
She cannot provide enuf food for 1.4 billion people.
Ergo, she will be willing to "compromise" alot.
Unions in the USA have outgrown their need.
I absolutely disagree with you qwark....
The "Union" is the ability to collective bargain....something that will never be obsolete....never....
People today just have very little clue as to what power a union of workers, or guild, can hold......and the abuses of official unions (government unions) over independent unions (like the ILWU) can taint the one that truly reflects disadvantaged workers....which the UFW and the ILWU represent......not to mention UAW and others...
Until collective bargaining is lost...perhaps its value will not be appreciated.....
I believe the "union" needs to be reinvigorated....and companies like Walmart and Home Depot need to be forced to accept workers rights...
Americans can vote with their dollars by not buying Chinese Goods. While it's getting harder and harder to find American Manufactured consumer items it's still possible.
We would not need to borrow from anyone if we would Abolish the Federal Reserve and put the power of the economy back in the hands of the people and out of the hands of International Bankers who have no allegiance to any economy.
