Four first-year eligible players Tim Brown, Jerry Rice, Emmitt Smith and Aeneas Williams, are among the 25 semifinalists being considered for the Pro Football Hall of Fames Class of 2010.
The Selection Committee will meet in South Florida, on Saturday, February 6, 2010, to elect the Hall of Fame Class of 2010. The election results will be announced at 5 p.m. ET during a one-hour NFL Network special, live from the Broward County Convention Center.

Everyone is saying Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith are shoe in's.

Im rooting for Cris Carter and Shannon Sharpe to get the phone call as well.

Anyone else have any thoughts or who you pulling for to wear that yellow jacket this year?

Jerry Rice and Emmmitt Smith are both LOCKED in for Hall of Fame.

Tim Brown might not go this round.

But, don't pay much attention to who is going, unless Cowboys players are involved. big_smile tongue

If Emmitt Smith made the Ring of Honor in Dallas and isn't a Hall of Famer? There is something really screwed up in Dallas. smile big_smile

I remember seeing him last year all week leading up to it. . people were telling him he was getting in. . and then to see him the day the new inductees were named . . the show had to go on and there he was  ..  sad as could be . . . and I think the yellow jacket would look good on him wink

Shannon Sharpe will get in eventually, just like Cris Carter.

They both will get in. Will be on this ballot? Who knows.

The consensus on both are that they are Hall of Fame Receivers.

I think Cris Carter should go before Shannon Sharpe goes. But, that can be debateable to whatever end. lol

I think most would agree with you on Cris Carter  . when I was researching wide receivers . for anyone I asked who they thought was one of the greatest WR's . .  hands down all I heard was Cris Carters name.

I guess we will know come Sat. who gets in. . I was just wondering who people were pulling for. . .

Yes, yes...I answered in the other thread! wink

Am I seeing this correctly...The Giants are thinking about trading Osi for Kerry Rhodes?? I think that would be unwise.
