Spam Hubs - what happens to them?

   Hi all,
   
   I've been here a fortnight and my hubscore is 86 so I must be doing something right!
   
   I've noticed that the majority of new members seem to sign up and write 1-2 spammy hubs about something they're marketing (e.g. forex trading). What happens to these hubs? I see they get a low hubscore. Do they eventually get taken offline? If so that's a pretty neat system!

      I think they can wind up being taken down. If they get flagged by users and the HP team has a look and agrees that they are over promotional or against another rule (say about topics that are a violation of the TOS, like gambling for instance) they will be unpublished until the author fixes the problems and brings them within the rules. Thing is even legit writers may find a hub being flagged and unpublished if they did not fully understand the rules when writing a hub. Nothing to worry about there, HP will tell you to fix it and then review it and put it back up or you can say forget it and leave it. I had one of PTC and PTR sites, I was reviewing those as a way to make money or are they a scam, in a hub. I did not realize it but ptc and ptr stuff is a bit dodgy with google, you are not supposed to promote them or use them to get traffic. I was not really doing either, just trying to find out if they are a scam but decided to let it go as it wasn't getting much traffic and trying to get to payout was driving me insane on these sites so was happy to just stop.

   am a forex trader and there is nothing wrong writing a hub about it.
   
   score increase n decrease here
   
   d joy of writing is d main thing not score

      Oh I don't mind people writing about subjects that monetise well - I am doing this just like anybody else.
      
      But it's clear that there are 1000's of people who have clearly read an eBook about marketing forex, so they set up 1 hub about it despite knowing nothing about forex.
      
      As a part-time trader myself I just wonder how many people have lost their life savings on forex trading lol.

         I agree, it's pretty easy to spot these 1 time wonder spam hubs.  I doubt the people ever come back to the site after they set it up.
