      I think you are speaking of the LOGOS, right? Its the LOGOS earnest.
      
      What it essentially pertains to is the power of a declaration. It has come to mean Gd's word in modern Christianity. But it really is nebulous to most of them, and most think its the literal bible passages.

      Logos; often translated as "word", it's true meaning is much more multifunctional (a better translation would be "reason"). The Logos is the light that gives Gnosis via communication. It is the Christ (not to be confused with Jesus). First there was a thought, then the word. We pass on knowledge in this world through words. It is something that gives us guidance by "seeing" or a certain amount of comprehension.

   In the grand scheme of things this just seems so unimportant. I don't think I will waste my time writing anymore. Whats the point. Debating about who's God is right! There are no Gods!! Why would an Omnipotent being be so cruel?!?! Take away a 34 year old man for what purpose? My friend! MY brother! If there is a GOD than it is a 3 year old burning ants with a magnifying glass!!!!!!! What could possibly be the purpose? Crushing his family who are good people! He had a drug problem! But I knew him! He was good! Dammit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Exactly! Omniscient yet barbaric? Omnipresent but never seen? Omnipotent, but unable to lift a finger to stop his own creation from being insane?
      
      The god of the bible or quoran is an ant sized psychopath in my view, and totally man made to control other men.
      Obvious from the outside. Funny I could see nothing when I was a religionist, the book takes over the senses if you ram it down your own throat often enough!

      Do keep writing Hokey, even if it is rage that you write. I will read. I lost my father when he was only 40, I was only 10. I asked God to take me instead, when I suddenly realized the end was near. I begged with all of my heart. I told Him how much the family needed my dad more than me. But he chose to answer that prayer with a resounding NO, as I felt from the other room my heart rend in two in my chest. I knew before they called us out to tell us that he was dead. I raged for two years, while the family prayed that we would be comforted I prayed "i hate you I hate you I hate you, I am never talking to you again!" as if my rage could actually hurt some supreme being. It was all I had, and how I came to be a writer, writing my pain.

                  No, just trying to stay out of trouble. I am sticking my foot in my mouth on a regular and want to at least get some sleep tonight. I can't take another tossing and turning from, should I have said that. I am learning to make myself perfectly clear, so as not to be misinterpreted... As many have been since the word first took form.

      I'm sorry Hokey. Everything tends to sound platitudinous when you're hurting, but your friend is at peace. You and others who knew him have to suffer through this loss, but he won't suffer anymore.
      
      Feel free to vent and scream and yell if you like. I'm sure most of us know how you're feeling.

            Life is Impermanence - isn't that the truth!  Nothing stays the same, nothing stays controlled, every structure rots eventually. Says allot for non attachment. which in reality is very difficult.
