I published a new hub this afternoon: http://hubpages.com/hub/How-to-striptease
The ads setting is set to high but there are no ads showig.  Any ideas why and how to solve it?

LOL I guess you have to work on wording big_smile

Not that I ever tried, but there are rumors circulating around that Google would suspend their ads on adult content. I bet you are affected by this...

Thanks Misha and Trsmd.  I didn-t think that was adult content... at least not around my part of the world cool  I didn't even used any pictures and kept it quite "clean" bah voila c' la vie.

It is because google stops showing ads in pages that they suspect to be adult content. That can be due to title, tags, pics or even the text content within our hubs. Keep this in mind whenever u make new hubs. I hope this helps you.

Google does not serve ads on such content, not even those Dating Sites (Black Women, Russian and all those) , I`ve had an article on 'facts about masturbation' and they weren`t delivering any ads.

PS. I can see ads on your hub. I don`t know for how long. They might stay there thou.

Hi Alex, funny you see ads; is that in Rumania?

Yup, I am now in Romania, and I can see ads on your hub. Now that`s impossible, you should be able to see them as well, not the same ones, but you should see ads, no matter your location. Now please check your browser settings.

May be ads are shown in some data centers and not served in other parts of the world?!

Yes, I think you may have it. I see no ads on your "busty" hub.

Hope you didn't spend the 12 bucks already sad

Well, that will please a few members if google are dropping ads from those type of hubs.

Thanks guys.  Funny Rumania and India being the only ones who get the ads hmm   I still think the content is not "adult content" there is no nudity or explicit language.  Earlier in the day I had also lost my ads in a couple of other hubs sad

Ads gone, now Google definitely made up it`s mind. lol
I think people should not publish any adult material articles at all, as they are not delivering ads, not even woman issues or sex problems and so on. I have experience this issue before. Have you mailed Hubpages, they might be blocking some URL`s and type of ads, and that might be the reason for them not showing up.

If you search hubpages for xxxx, you'll notice most hubs do not have ads. The problem (or the solution to others) may just be here at hubpages.
