I think George should give all that money away to pay for health care.

He actually is quite a philanthropist. He gave millions to help former Soviet Satellite countries.

Oh yeah, he's a saint! Only millions? A drop in the bucket considering he makes his money shorting the dollar.

Soros made his big score shorting the British pound.

Here's what Paul Volcker had to say about Soros.

Former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker wrote in 2003 in the foreword of Soros' book The Alchemy of Finance:

George Soros has made his mark as an enormously successful speculator, wise enough to largely withdraw when still way ahead of the game. The bulk of his enormous winnings is now devoted to encouraging transitional and emerging nations to become 'open societies,' open not only in the sense of freedom of commerce but—more important—tolerant of new ideas and different modes of thinking and behavior.

The Center for American Progress looks pretty innocuous to me.

Well he wants to tell everyone how to live their lives. As the founder of the Center For American Progress he's committed to bringing socialism to America in the hopes of further weakening the dollar while enriching himself!

No, I'm no afraid of socialists as long as they stay in their countries where they belong.

Soros is an American citizen. He belongs here. And I don't think it's accurate to call him a socialist. He did spend a lot of money to help Obama defeat Bush. I guess in your lexicon that makes him a socialist.

Oh I'm definitely for it and so is George, but he's for it only for himself everyone else should abide by his ideas for social "progress".

What this person made is what concern of yours?

He made his money with a Hedge Fund. So, what's the problem?

It clearly shows you don't understand the true structure of America's way of life.

But, that's another story for another day. smile
