What do you want to do with your alone time that you haven't done?
Something I used to do, and haven't in a long time--is listen to music I enjoy and sing along. My husband and I have very diverse tastes in music (most everything actually) and he does not like what I would listen to. So on the rare occasions when he is not home, I used to put on my music and sing along (singing alone, I can convince myself it sounds okay!!
I haven't done that in a long time...thanks for making me think of it!!
Our pastor preached about prayer and he is right, I need to include daily prayer and daily exercise. I wash my face, comb by hair, brush my teeth but alas I don't pray daily.
I do request favors but I don't have a relationship with Jesus - I don't pray and ask for direction, I make a list, I ask for help and assistance - this is not prayer.
I need to exercise my mind and my spirit daily.
