Not just Nintendo, but any of those old consoles? I was just wondering if any of you ever pull them out and play them? Or do you use Emulators and roms?
yes tetris and Super Mario 3 ... Yay! Oh and of course toss in a good game of duck hunt ... smiles

I love the original Red and Blue version for Gameboy Colour - POKEMON!
Old video games are great! I thought Super Mario Bros 3 was the best one in the series, until New Super Mario Bros Wii came out.
Been playing Tetris on my iPod Touch, and now I'm thinking about picking up the new Super Mario All-Stars collection :-)
Pokemon Snap, and Zelda rocked my world also Smash Bros on the Nintendo 64. Yay. :-)
i still have mine, but i never play it anymore. i thought about selling it, but most used video game stores won't give me that much for it. hence, i haven't gotten rid of it. one of these days, i'll have to play on it again.
when my xbox broke a couple of years ago i borrowed a nintendo 64 and played legend of zelda "ocarina of time" for like days and days>loved it!!
I still play old nintendo games from time to time. I'll either break out the SNES or the 64. Some of those games are too good not to play again.
That's pretty much all I play anymore. Not too keen on the newer stuff, so I tend to stick with what I loved as a kid: NES and other crusty, old gaming systems.
I really wish I had kept my old consoles when I was younger. After I moved out of my parents house they all disapeared
I would still play them if I had them.
I still love to play Goldeneye for the 64, that game will never get old.
I did a couple of years ago. I hated all the extra buttons on the other stuff, but my husband got me playing X-box 360...I think he has realized he made a mistake, i play it more than him now!..heheheh
I still whip out the old Genesis and put some sonic the hedgehog on back when it was good and the dream-cast for some virtua fighter just to reminisce I like to play Paper-Boy on the 360 that was a fun game.
We never had Nintendo or anything like that when I was growing up, but I still occasionally sit down for a game of SimAnt, my favorite computer game when I was a kid. It's kind of amazing how different it looks on a 1260x800 screen than it did back on the old MS-DOS computer I played on back then.
when I first bought the wii, I downloaded all the older mario bros. games to play on the wii
I still have a Sony Playstation that is occasionally used to keep visiting kids up to 40 happy while we do other stuff
BUT the only game I really really liked was the original WORMS - as amusement for consenting half-pi**ed adults it takes some beating. The whole funny, sloppy, innacurate and plain cheatable game amused for hours.
If anyone still has it - I WANT ONE !! My copy was in the pile of stuff my second ex sold the minute I was far enough away to be out of mind.
I remember the days of Space Invaders from the '70s. Yeah, you actually had to stand at those old video games at the arcade or grocery store. A pocket full of quarters always helped.
Pac Man was iconic. However, it seemed a sacrilige when Ms. Pac Man manifest itself.
Galaga and 1942 were among my favorites of yesteryear.
Does anyone still have a copy of the original worms ? is there anywhere I can get one ?
Recently started using emulators to play my old SNES and Megadrive (Genesis) games again, it's a great nostalgia trip but you do realise how dated some of them are. Loved going back over Lemmings and Rainbow Islands though. The only thin that irritates me a bit is that they weren't made for widescreen so you get huge black bars at the sides of the screens. I'd love to see more retro classic game collections produced.
Someone tell me they've played River City Ransom for Nintendo. That game was amazing.
Goldeneye on N64 bit legendary.
Pokemon on Gameboy
Mario Kart on any Nintendo console is amazing !
Recently i played golden sun for game boy advanced through an emulator, was a lot of fun, other than that i cant say i have physically played any of the older consoles recently...
Ahh those were to days.
I really wish I still had any old consoles. I would if I could
When I first got the wii, I downloaded the Mario N64 to keep on playing it...So I guess my answer is yes
Wow, a friend and I were just playing the Nintendo 64 two nights ago for grins and giggles. He just had a strange impulse to fire it up so we did a little.
Sure do.
I'm an avid fan of the ZX Spectrum and Commodore Amiga (as you may have guessed from my hubs)
I love retro gaming and often play the old classics!
Definitely!
I play Secret of Mana
Chrono Trigger
currently replaying Tales of Phantasia
Donkey kong
etc.
N64? not so much.
I usually just play Super Mario 64, Mischief Makers, and Yoshi Story.
I reeeally want Hey you, Pikachu. Rented it forever ago and regret never buying it...

Preference Of Video Games: PC or Console? Many people are undecided on prference as to play games for PC or go buy a PS3 or XBOX and enjoy their games that way. I'm interested in getting a general consensus.

Blizzard Entertainment knew Diablo III would be a hit, and they could also see it as "an unworthy attempt of a sequel" (dubbed by some players). The franchise has been a must-have for any RPG gamer who's looking for a bit of HeXeN thrown into their top-down fantasy game. But what do you...

If you're over 40, why do you still play video games?I'm 44 and not ashamed to admit I own an Xbox and still really enjoy it when I get a chance to play. I think I'm of a generation that grew up with video games and I'll play them until the day I die.
