Unresolved issues are, in my opinion, the most common cause of stress. It comes from unrealistic expectation from others. We need to learn to be happy in and by ourselves. My stress management tool is mindfulness.
Anything that threatens ego, so long as I am attached to it.
Ego is all about being on top... about surviving... about being right.
Even the suicide perpetrator commits self-murder only to be right and to show everyone else how wrong they are. It is an act of separation -- denouncing ties with all those unworthy to be in the same universe with them. In a very twisted way, suicide is a form of "survival" -- of having the "last laugh."
Without ego, one is no longer vulnerable. Anything can happen and stress doesn't have a foothold. Like a ghost, everything passes right through us. Only when we become attached to something as important -- hold onto some reason or some "because" -- do we become solid enough to feel the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.
Running a business and being the sole provider of my family is stressful. Knowing that if something goes wrong that our livelyhood could be gone. So I guess when you're responsible for someone else and they rely on you is my most stressful issue. So help me lower my stress and visit my hubs and sites linked to them...lol
The things that stress me out the most are lack of time management and people complaining to me as though I can help whatever the situation is. At the same time, complaining is a taste of my own medicine, I'm just seeing it from a different side now.
everything causes me stress but if I have to choose the most stressfull for my right now is my family situation
Finances always stress me out. Worrying about the safety of my teens also stresses me out.
I guess finances, especially in this tough economy.
My passion is helping people to deal with stress so visit my hubs and hopefully you will learn ways to relieve stress that can make your life easier and better. They are all about stress, anxiety and the pursuit of happiness.
