Are you an "early bird" or a "night owl"?

If you didn't have anything else (like a job) making you get up at a certain time, when would you get up/go to bed? And do you think creative people tend to be more early birds or night owls?

I've always been an early bird. I used to get up early to eat breakfast with my dad. Now I get up whenever it gets light out. Same thing, no alarm needed... just a little light outside.

I'm with you most afternoons. 2-4 is a bad time day or night.

Do you sleep less overall? I have an older friend (80ish) who barely sleeps at all, maybe 2-4 hours a night. I'd love to have that much energy!

My kids are both night owls too. It's next to impossible to get them out of bed in the morning.

And I thought early birds were probably rare! It sound like you get enough sleep to be really productive while you are awake though - and that would be a good thing.

I find mornings better than nights for being creative because I'm not so tired, even though both are quiet.

I'm definitely the early bird, sometimes I wake up extra early with ideas that make me get out of bed to go to work on them. I hope the alarm works for you, kids can be tough on creativity.
