Have you ever done a self-assessment of your activity on HP and if so did you make changes?

Just did a mini one and will shift some of what I do here. Saw a well-written note on another hubber's profile, that his 'compass and course will be sailing him toward new horizons.' I will keep my toes in HP waters for now, but would enjoy interaction with a more focused circle of people whose passions, interests and values are in common. Would like to read how you feel about your own HP self-assessment.

I assess my focus every 6 weeks, and my financial progress on HubPages monthly, and I continue to make small (and large) adjustments.

Right now, I'm intensifying my focus on HubPages. I've become a HubGreeter on the Welcome Wagon, and I'm setting up routines to comment on a certain number of hubs a day and to grow my networking and connectivity.

Oops! Almost forgot! I'd better write some hubs, too!

Congratulations on being a HubGreeter, Sid. Interesting, I just got the notion this morning to comment on hubs in place of some of the time that has been spent in Q&A.

Yes, I enjoyed the shift from Q&A to commenting. And it boosts your commenter rating, too. Today, I also decided to take the serious plunge into video. And your hub on using MovieMaker got me going there. Thanks!

Sid, the creative exploration and discovery made the process of learning the basics of MovieMaker a very fun ride. Thumbs up to your plunge, and happy swimming!

Yes, I've made a decision over the last few days to mnake as many oif my hubs 'stellar' as I can. In the face of all the SEO changes, the content is the one thing I can control!

Self Assessment is the best tool to judge your own performance. But sometimes the results are entirely different as I have seen that my own activities adjudged by me as not "up to the mark" were liked by the fellow hubbers very much. It is difficult to know the reactions of variety of audience. I think one must keep off , I mean to say have break from HP as doing so creates curiosity among your fans to trace you at HP.

Yes, shortly there will be an old curriculum arriving for me to focus on editing. That will help ease my time away from HP. In an apartment in a foreign land with a long, grey cold winter, I have been too much on the computer and HubPages. Balance.
