You have the opportunity to redo one thing from the last year - what do you change and why?
I had an opportunity presented to me that was with a "start up" and I talked myself out of it because it would have been a major investment of time without a guarantee of reward. At the time I felt I couldn't accept that risk due to other mitigating circumstances. If I could go back I'd definitely have looked into that further and maybe taken some chances as things are doing quite well for them. Oh well hindsight is 20/20 and all. If you could redo something from the PAST YEAR or so, what would it be and why?
I'm taking the "...or so"...to mean more or less than a year. In that case for me I'd done more lower body workouts so I could better walk on my new leg (am a amputee above the knee). That way I'd not have used the walker so long and still have to use the cane. And prayed more than 24/7 and every moment of each day.
Never to late to keep pushing though, hope you continue to get stronger and walk better. Best wishes to you for improved health.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery. I was complaining about my breaking my leg, but what's the old saying? "I complained about having no shoes until I saw a man who had no feet." My slow recovery pales in comparison to yours.
I would not step in that crosswalk on Jan. 2, 2014. The one with the hidden ice on the white stripes that caused me to slip and break my fibula. Black Ice is easy to see, but ice on white paint is invisible. The break caused me to miss six weeks of work, be miserable, still causes me pain, and has permanently impaired my walking ability. It has changed my life in a manner that I do not like. I have learned to avoid crosswalks in winter weather. This was a very expensive (even with insurance) and painful lesson for me.
I would have better prepared myself for homeownership. I feel like everything, from packing to repairs, I've done wrong and/or the hard way. Though I have a sneaking suspicion that there is no right way to do it.
I agree. Every time I used a mover at least two boxes never made it and were never found, and our entertainment unit was torn up. The attitude of the moving company was such that I didn't even try to get reimbursed for repairs. A home is a money pit.
What's that you're saying? The story of my life? . You are right, yes it is an uphill battle many times and your suspicions are correct.
Absolutely nothing. If I were to change my past, I risk losing the person I am today. I like that person

Have Your Earnings Gone Down In The Last Year? This is geared more toward those who have been on HP for year/s and therefore notice long term trends, but anyone can answer for sure!I've noticed in the past year that my traffic numbers have pretty much stayed the same as previous years, but I'm now...

My traffic is way down this year, and even worse than two years ago. I'm feeling a little uneasy about the whole Maven takeover thing and am wondering if I should even bother putting my time and effort into writing more articles. Gut instinct tells me HP days are numbered. I really hope I'm wrong.

Are you happier with the economy than you were this time last year?
