Should we allow people to overdose if they want to die?

Many close to Lamar Odom knew he was depressed and possibly want to die. He almost died  over dosing of drugs and alcohol . Should we allow people to end their own lives?

This question is a tricky one and the answer would depend highly on the circumstances involved. For example, mental illness that can be treated or even cured should be a reason for authorization of suicide. A chronic disease or something that is FOR SURE going to kill someone painfully might be reason to reconsider and allow that individual to go out with some dignity.

No. Because their life is simply not their own, it belongs to a higher being God, he created it and he will take it in good time

Isn't that part of the free will that I have heard so much of.

When the quality of life sinks to a certain level, and no one can help them up, then what is their purpose to stay alive.

This can't be a question. If someone wants to take their own life, they will, whether we allow it or not.
