Wise words from the Dalai Lama. What strategies do you use, to make the most of every day?
Being in the present is the easiet thing in the world to do.
It 's so easy, we don't do it.
We overwork, overthink and overschedule.
We are hyperconscious of way too much, when the easiest and best thing in the world is to just STOP and be here now!
You're so right. I have a tendency to over think and worry about things I can do nothing about. I make lists and then get annoyed when I don't complete them on time and if I'm not working on the renovation or gardening, I feel I'm wasting my time. Today is a bank holiday and it's raining so I can do neither, (although I could scrub the kitchen.) But I'm going to count my blessings, relax and appreciate the day. (And probably work in the green house but I'm counting that as a hobby.)

I am utterly convinced that we shall never again see a truly limited government. As power corrupts so does absolute power corrupt absolutely. Our Presidents demand more power. Our Congress legislates new power ignoring the will of the people. Our courts interpret new powers. Sooner or later a...
