1 Corinthians 15:33 -"Bad companionships corrupt good morals."
Your mother said: “Mind the company you keep. People won’t say he/she is like ________________, people will say THEY are ____________.
Jim Rohn - “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.”
Hearing this ideology from several avenues there must be validity to the thought. In your journey to be your best self and fulfill your purpose while you are here be aware if the people that you have in your life. Your company influences you, so while understanding all people are flawed including oneself, and you become like the people you hang around. For this reason it is important to beware of your companions for they do influence you. The people you surround yourself with should encourage you to be your best self and exemplify the behaviors, characters, and morals that help you along your journey. If you are honest but spend time with manipulative liars, you too will tend to exaggerate the truth. If you are reserved with the number of partners you sleep with however your friends are racking up sexual partners like men are disappearing, over time your morals will relax as well.
