What different types of diet programs or weight loss programs have people tried?
My wife and I are both doing the South Beach Diet and it's working very well. In the last few weeks I think she's lost eight pounds and I've lost at least five. The best part is I still get to eat lots of meat, eggs, and cheese!

Metabolic Research Center is a program that is designed for real life, long term weight loss. The program allows you to use real food you prepare at home, so there isnt any point of calorie counting, WHICH IS A BLESSING! People average 2-5 lbs a week....the 5 mostly coming from men (of course). Most women average 3 pounds a week. Its not to expensive, check it out.
After some experience in learning about diets and exercise regiments, I kind of created my own.
I did a "pseudo-atkins diet"
I didn't cut out carbs, I just cut out the bad ones.
I ate enough, but I didn't overeat.

I've recently started beating a path towards 6% body fat. I've always been fairly built and lean, but I wanted to really challenge myself. I've been eating a really strict low glycemic index diet, I've basically cut all bread, pasta and rice out of my diet. I still eat carbs in vegetable and bean form, so I haven't completely cut them out. I have tried so many diets but only one realy helped me:
