How do you deal with embarrassment??
Anger, I can cope with, sadness, I can cope with, but embarrassment? It's the one thing I really can't cope with! Every time an embarrassing memory creeps into my head I just want to curl up into a ball and hide in the corner! So what can I do to deal with the embarrassment??
I think you just have to laugh it off. It will go away.
Other people don't pay as much attention to your embarrassments as you think (they're too concerned with their own). In college I tripped over a chair leg in a room full of classmates. I fell flat on my face, but got up as quickly as possible and laughed it off. When you think of your own embarrassments, think of people on television whose embarrassments have been seen by millions all over the world. Just be glad you're not them!
