God sends help through people as well as prayer. If you have tried natural remedies such as using baking soda, camomile , calamine lotion and it isn't working, see a doctor. There are also over the counter ointments that can help. You are not being ignored by God, sometimes we just don't hear his answers.

I actually sometimes wonder the same thing about a 'craziness causing' itch that no dermatologist has ever been able to conquer, as yet. So the conclusion has so far been drawn that God bestowed this itch to help develop reserves of inner self-discipline, by not being able to itch too much, in public/social settings.

God is already helping you. He has given you the ability to communicate with other people who will give you the solution to your intensely itching problem. Now that you have communicated, please go see a doctor immediately.

The Almighty God has given the doctor sufficient knowledge to effectively diagnose your disease and prescribe good medicine that will cure your problem. Go see the doctor today. Do not waste another one more day.

    And May God Bless You.

This would be maddening!  The only thing I can think of is that there was a beginning to the problem (5 months ago).  I would think about what happened back then; a new pet, a new medication, a new soap, a new living environment, a stressful situation?  Might be you are allergic to something.  I'm sure you've prayed to ask God what is causing it; I pray He will answer you ~ or give the answer to your doctor!!  I am so sorry you are suffering.  I will be praying for you as well.  I love you, sis!

I asked this question 3 months ago and I found relief. I just wrote a hub about it called " Itching All Over My Body!". I am no longer itching. Check it out!
