You've already hurt it. If the FETUS is aware of anything at all, it may be shocked that you belatedly showed a little concern for it.
Your baby will be fine if you quit smoking. I am assuming you're concerned about withdrawal symptoms for the baby, however at 5 months he/she will be fine. You, on the other hand, may have a hard time with it and it's important to just focus on getting through it one hour at a time in the beginning, but you can do this! I wish you all the best of luck!
