SOME SAY: going to gym for a short period of time then stopping helps gain weight/ drinking beer to often/ drinking milk/ eating nutritious foods/ and not smoking. But consult you doctor to be safe. Or... just look at the brighter side. Many models are thin. big_smile

I made a hub for this argument.
To gain weight you can make some exercice, following my advices on how to make them, eat something very caloric ( for example dried fruit) ,split up the meals throughout the day in 5-7 meals and take the adequate supplements.

Take 2 bananas daily in the morning followed by milk. Rich diets like non veg are best source for gaining weight.

Your first action should be to schedule a check-up with your physician. It could be that you have some kind of medical problem that is preventing you from gaining weight. If you are taking in more calories each day than you are expending in energy, and still not gaining weight, something is definitely wrong.

Exercise won't pack-on any extra muscle weight, unless you increase your caloric intake simultaneously. Otherwise, you will simply lose more weight. If you look in one of those bodybuilding magazines with people who gained tons of pounds of weight in a short period, I can guarantee you that each of them consumed at least 10,000 calories a day to develop that much muscle. This means eating at least 4x what you normally do (not recommended) or consuming calorie dense supplements, usually in the form of high protein shakes.
