Yes of course, but it would be harder to talk and eat even though you would get used to it to some extent. Similar to people without teeth that use false teeth or none..
yes sure i still can live without tongue. It's only my life will be really not easy coz i can't speak the right words, can't eat proper, can't taste sweet, bitter, or whatever....

yes why not drink a water in sitting situation and eat khajur when you are hungry. its not a imposible, humanity have also faced a shortage of food and water from many years and also facing this problem in present ,and all are live
Yes sure! probably you will have difficulty , or inability, to speak , eat and drink. I knew some people who have had surgery of removal the tongue and I assure you, they are not dead!
No we cannot like without a tongue because tongue helps to chew the food
