    How important is fiber in a diet? Explain?

    Fiber is important because #1 - it allows your body to feel full without over stuffing it with unnessesary calories.  #2. it allows your system to run more smoothly. #3. it helps prevent things like constipation & lowers your risk of hemeroids (as there is less stress when you are moving "regular" bowels as apposed to difficult ones).
