What are the six simple tips to help you select healthier foods?
Very simple. Keep healthy foods in your home so it's easy to choose healthier snacks and meals to make for yourself. Also, out of sight and out of mind. After any meal or snack, put food away when you're finished to help prevent the urge to snack after you've already eaten. Keep any fatty, sugary foods and candies put away as well and you won't think about eating them.
Keep good lighting in your home and never eat watching the t.v. There have been studies to show that in low lighting, people tend to have the need to snack on fattier, sweeter foods and watching t.v. while eating can cause you to over eat without realizing it.
eat like a vegetarian three times a week. Enjoy!
Remember organic Veggies, whole grains, sprouted, nuts etc.
