What's the best way to get over a cold?
Share any remedies you have for getting over a cold — the cold season is fast approaching!
For the kids: Vicks, Nyqil, and lots of love
My husband prefers:
1 tbsp honey
3/4 glass tea
2 shots brandy
1 slice lemon
For me its chicken soup and day nurse, and a big heaping dose of just get on with it!

Water and other fluids. You can't flush a cold out of your system, but drinking plenty of liquids can help. Water, juice, clear broth or warm lemon water with honey helps loosen congestion and prevents dehydration. Avoid alcohol, coffee and caffeinated sodas, which make dehydration worse.
