    Mediterranean diet consists mainly of pasta, lot of vegetables, lots of fruits and olive oil.

    Olive oil is low in cholesterol and therefore is very healthy.

    Basic ingredients are definitely olive oil, tomatoes, nice bread and different spices (chilly, basil, oregano, garlic). Take bruschetta for  example. A simple recipe to prepare. Bread, spread the garlic on the bread, fresh tomatoes and a leave of origano. A drop of oil on top of it. It is so fresh and so tasty.
