Does anyone here have a really bad sleeping pattern?
Mine is awful and I wish I could get it back to normal. Sometimes I'm going to bed at 6 am...
I'm not one for normally suffering from bad sleeping patterns - though like anyone I'm susceptible from time to time. Circumstance is the cause (at least for me) and I usually find it rights itself soon enough.
I suggest you have a look at external factors. What's causing your pattern to be so out of whack, what's going on in your life - or has done recently. Something caused it - you have to figure out what it was/is.
Then you can start trying to eliminate the problems - or at least try and and find a balance between the two. Sleep is important and you do need to figure it out.
Start a diary - what time you get to sleep, how long you sleep for, what happens when you're awake, what foods you eat. See if (in the event you can't figure it out just by musing on it) if you can see a pattern emerging.
Good luck getting sorted
I go to bed 3 to 4 hours later everyday. Every week a day's turn is completed so I sleep six times a week. Every time, I sleep 5 to 6 hours. But I do not consider this a bad sleeping pattern. I like it this way. It's efficient.

Can anyone recommend any homeopathic tablets to help with sleep?I have trouble sleeping at night. I dont have any trouble falling asleep, but find that I wake up an hour or so later and can't get back to sleep. I don't want to take sleeping tablets, but wonder if there is any natural alternatives.

I just got off a stretch of working 7 nights in a row and am having a very hard time switching back to day mode. It is now 11:30pm and I don't think I'll be tired until at least 3am. Last night (this morning?) I didn't fall asleep until 6am. I have to work at 8am tomorrow. This is so frustrating. I...

What are your thoughts on Divine Justice? There are a group of people who want to blame or praise God for certain natural events that have happened. Many people blamed Katrina on the morality of New Orleans. I am not arguing this particular theology (although I disagree with it) I am now wondering...

I have been an insomniac all of my life. Even as a young child I remember laying in bed night after night, trying to occupy my mind to starve off the crazies. It has stayed with me my whole life and I will probably have to deal with it forever. I'm lucky if I sleep 3 hours a night, if I...
